Jan. 21, 2018 - Heading into the third period of the 15th annual Guns and Hoses hockey game, the score was tied and the sold-out, record crowd of more than 7,500 fans were on the edges of their seats.
A pair of short-handed goals, a mere 30 seconds apart, broke the game open for the Hoses as they pulled away to a 7-3 victory. The win broke a two-year losing streak to the Guns. It was just the fourth win for the Hoses in the series, though each team has won three games over the last six years.
As if the game wasn't exciting enough, the best news of the night was that the record crowd helped raise nearly $45,000, by far the most money raised in the charity event's 15-year history!
Thank you for all your support over the years and we look forward to yet another record-breaking year in 2019, and another step closer to a cure for MD!
